All students in grades 7-12 will have the opportunity:
- To attend Career Day, an annual event hosting over 20 different career fields, including the military.
- To attend College day, an alternating year event hosting over 20 different colleges/universities.
- To have input (7th-8th grade) and/or create (9th-12th grade) their own class schedule to match interest areas and potential future areas of study. High School students will annually complete their Individualized Career and Academic Plan (ICAP) to guide class selections.
- To participate in Freshman Seminar, a course designed to explore Who Am I? What Do I Want To Do? How Do I Get There?
- To engage in Junior Meetings, a time for students to individually connect with our Post-Secondary Advisor and discuss goals.
- To attend a Financial Aid Night featuring an expert on FAFSA and other financial aid tools.
- To partipate in Senior Seminar, a course designed to walk students through content such as: required college visits (3 in-person, 3 virtual), college applications, career shadows, scholarship searches and applications, budgeting, financial aid, interviewing skills, personal goal setting with counselor support, etc., culminating in a capstone paper and presentation.
