Jennifer Davis has been teaching Computer Science at Jefferson Academy since 2007. She earned her degree at Washington State University and began her teaching career in Washington before moving to bush Alaska. After 8 years in Northwest Arctic Borough School District she moved to Colorado and joined the outstanding staff at Jefferson Academy. She has one son who is a student at JA.

Jennifer Davis was named the recipient of the 2019 NCWIT Aspirations in Computing (AiC) Colorado Educator Award! The National Center for Women and Information Technology is a powerful, national network of universities, companies, non-profits, and government organizations working to increase the meaningful participation of girls and women in computing.  The NCWIT Aspirations in Computing Educator Award publicly celebrates educators who encourage high school women’s interest and participation in technology pursuits.
